Facilitated Dialogues

Who are you, why, where are you going...and to what end?
The question "Who am I" is one we each ask in due time, but forming one's identity is contingent on so many factors, nature and nurture often blotting out any understanding of alternatives. To the extent one chooses to be knowingly and explicitly purposeful about creating the person s/he wants to become whilst leveraging her/his talents and plowing them into a purpose greater than oneself, fulfillment is inclined to follow.
Henry David Thoreau wrote, &ldquo;The mass of men lead lives of quiet desperation,&rdquo; but Ralph Waldo Emerson's antidote to this was is, in part, vocation: &ldquo;The crowning fortune of a man is to be born to some pursuit which finds him employment and happiness, whether it be to make baskets, or broadswords, or canals, or statues, or songs.&rdquo;
If we are fortunate, we are afforded a nice, long time to explore numerous chapters in our own Book of Life, but whether brief or an extended stay, each step may be our last, so please join us as we guide you on a journey toward self-discovery, the primary intent being to name one's heart's song and to live a life saturated in service.

Formerly Vice President of Product Development for Wilson Learning, President of The Inventure Group, and currently President of Emergence, Dr. Steve Buchholz is a noted author with significant experience in three relevant domains:

<li>His book Creating High Performance Teams is the basis for building the benchmarks of a high-performance team. He currently conducts sessions that focus on what it means to lead as a team.</li>
<li>His book Aftershock&mdash;Change's Impact on the Human Spirit is the basis for numerous insights regarding what happens to the energy of an organization after major change. He has recently co-authored a book based on research regarding re-engagement: Unplugged&mdash;How Organizations Lose Their Energy and How to Get It Back.</li>
<li>And his work on leadership brings a special knowledge regarding the importance of leaders and leadership teams and the role they must play during turbulent times.&nbsp;</li>

His most recent projects with Wilson Learning include looking at the key elements that influence high employee engagement and a leadership journal that promotes deep reflection on what it means to lead.
He also serves as a "Mastery" coach working with several high potential candidates from various organizations. The focus is on building their leadership regard and preparing them for the next level of leadership. Specialties: Mastery Coaching, Learning Design, Leadership, Change Management/Engagement, Work Culture, and Working with Senior Executives.
Steve earned his PhD in Organizational Behavior and consults regularly with leaders around the world. When stateside, he can often be found near a remote lake in Minnesota enjoying his family and friends.

Steve Buchholz

Peter DeMarco is an Executive Consultant and Faculty Member for Leath Group, LLC&mdash;a dynamic curriculum development and intellectual property&nbsp;greenhouse&nbsp;that grows leaders and shapes cultures.
Through the practice of Priority Thinking&reg;, Peter helps clients improve performance by first understanding their culture and subsequently identifying and assessing the risks to their organization. Priority Thinking&reg; is a unique application of practical philosophy developed by Peter&rsquo;s <a href="http://www.prioritythinking.com/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Institute for Priority Thinking&reg;</a>, which promotes a framework of sound priorities that can be applied at any level of any organization to increase effectiveness, reduce risk, and embed ethics application and rigor into daily and long-term decision making. The Institute&rsquo;s leadership and ethics programs are currently utilized at Duke University and other eminent universities across the United States.
Over a 34-year career, Peter has gained extensive leadership experience through general management and senior level executive assignments in the United States and Mexico while working for LIS Corp, Bausch &amp; Lomb, and Xerox. He has held leadership positions including Chief Operating Officer, Division President, Chief of Talent Acquisition &amp; Organizational Effectiveness, Managing Director, Plant Manager, Manufacturing Information Technology Manager, and Quality Engineer. Along with plant and multi-site management experience in the United States and Mexico, Peter has led the start-up of two manufacturing facilities from construction through staffing and ongoing operations. His first-hand experience with leading in distress and crisis situations has made Peter an invaluable resource to many clients.
Prior to his business career, Peter served as a United States Army infantry officer in airborne and mechanized assignments. Peter holds a BS from the United States Military Academy at West Point, an MS in Systems Management from the University of Southern California, an MS in Statistics from the Rochester Institute of Technology, and an MBA with a focus on Corporate Finance from the Simon School of Business at the University of Rochester.
Peter and Debbie, his wife of&nbsp;34 years, are the proud parents of seven children and&nbsp;more and more&nbsp;grandchildren!

Peter DeMarco

For more than 25 years, Greg has focused on growing organizations by cultivating thoughtful leaders, clarifying vision, organizing for excellence, maximizing engagement, and evaluating effectiveness. Whether investing in a small group of 12 or organizations 13,000 strong, Greg knows how to connect, assess core needs, and communicate a tangible future state that draws people in for long-term, sustainable strategic success.&nbsp;
Greg is a sought-after communicator and teacher. He spent his early career traveling and speaking in classrooms and to large assemblies covering a wide range of topics including self-esteem, positive living, and conflict resolution. Those early years taught him how to incorporate humor and a conversational style to &lsquo;meet people where they are&rsquo; by speaking from the heart to reach hearts of all ages.
Greg has been captivated by the topic of leadership for decades. Specifically, what makes a leader exceptional, and how does a great leader grow other great leaders? He has pursued answers to this around the world, having been mentored along the way by a cast of leaders from walks of life including business, education, and non-profits/philanthropies. In return, he has devoted recent years to passionately paying his findings forward by mentoring as many others as he can, be they millennials, mid-lifers, or retirees striving to solidify their legacies.
Throughout his pursuits, Greg has honed his approach for building outstanding teams who live and breathe their unique identity, values, mission, and who truly love what they do. Today, he works with organizations domestically and overseas to create a powerful difference in the lives of executive team members, employees, and even volunteers. He remains a student of and champion for constructive culture and endeavoring alongside influencers to harmonize work, life, and personal purpose and calling.
Greg brings a hungry mind and generous heart to the work he does. A voracious reader, he draws application lessons from classic literature, modern novels, poetry, history, business leadership books, and even spiritual theology and one-on-one interviews to weave a rich, diverse tapestry of timeless principles that often transcend people, place and time.
Greg earned his BA in Religious Studies at Louisiana College and his Master of Divinity at New Orleans Theological Seminary.&nbsp;
As a &lsquo;bayou boy&rsquo; from Lafayette, Louisiana, Greg loves to cook, play guitar, and ride his motorcycle, but cheerfully professes that nothing beats the boundless joy he derives from spending time with his wife of 25 years, Steffanie, and their two outstanding young adult daughters.

Greg Methvin

Gary Moreau is an&nbsp;Executive Consultant and Faculty Member for Leath Group, LLC&mdash;a dynamic research, curriculum development, and intellectual property greenhouse that grows leaders and shapes cultures.
In his fourth decade of leadership, Gary has served as consultant, global executive, private equity partner, General Manager of a large multinational in China, and always as writer, thinker, and pragmatic philosopher.&nbsp;
As former President &amp; COO of Oneida, CEO &amp; Operating Partner of Lionel LLC (Lionel Trains)/Wellspring Capital Management, Managing Director and subsequently VP &amp; GM (Asia Pacific) of Libbey Inc., Gary has thought often and deeply about the disciplines of leadership, collaboration, communication, strategy, and the nature of ethics in the workplace.
He is the author of the Understanding series of books with volumes devoted to doing business in China, general business and leadership, and living a fulfilling life. Understanding Business: The Logic of Balance was named a 2017 Top 100 Business Book of the Year by Kirkus Reviews and one of his fictional books, The Message, written under the pseudonym Avam Hale, was given a perfect 4/4 rating by the <a href="http://onlinebookclub.org">onlinebookclub.org</a> and subsequently named book of the day.
Recognized by the World Economic Forum as a Global Leader for Tomorrow in the Class of 1993, which also included Bill Gates and Michael Dell, Gary&rsquo;s abundant curiosity and thoughtfulness are animated through research, consulting, speaking, and ongoing contributions to scholarship and personal and professional service. Gary studied&nbsp;Economics at Middlebury College, from which he graduated with honors.&nbsp;
Having spent eight consecutive years leading in China, Gary is now stateside again, where he makes his home in Rochester, Michigan. A voracious reader, Gary is an Amazon Top 500 book reviewer and has a large following for his book reviews on Goodreads, where he reviews a wide range of genres from classic literature to philosophy and business.

Gary Moreau

Dalton Jantzen is an Executive Consultant, Coach &amp; Faculty Member for Leath Group, LLC&mdash;a dynamic curriculum development and intellectual property&nbsp;greenhouse&nbsp;that grows leaders and shapes cultures.
Dalton has over 50 years of experience in leadership, business and ministry formation, transformation, training, coaching, consulting, facilitation, and team-leading in environments as varied as mining, manufacturing, churches and para-church ministries, and the remote jungle outposts of South America.
As a coach to business leaders and owners, he has worked with for-profit and nonprofit organizations, as well as their boards of directors in both private and public sectors. In the manufacturing world, Dalton has worked with multi-lingual teams and helped streamline and heal interactions between teams and their counterparts across borders and competing organizations. Dalton always emphasizes the importance of leading from within&mdash;both within the individual, and the organization he or she serves.
Dalton is a popular speaker and growth cultivator, inspiring groups as well as working one-on-one with individuals on four continents: Europe, SE Asia, North America, and South America. He is co-author and facilitator of the impactful workshop series created for business and ministry leaders entitled The Spiritually Healthy Leader Series and Leath Group's <a href="https://www.leathgroup.com/series/spirited-series?f=&amp;s=&amp;d=recommended" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Spirited Series</a> (co-authored by church leaders for church leaders) including programs on Righteous Leadership, Giving Leadership, Impactful Leadership, Leading the Growing Church, and Leading Volunteers.&nbsp;
Fortune 500 companies in the USA, Canada, and Mexico know Mr. Jantzen through his consulting work with DeLaPorte &amp; Associates, Inc., where he served as Senior Consultant, Coach &amp; Special Projects Leader. His expertise in facilitation, strategic planning, coaching, mentoring, conflict resolution, production integration, and quality improvement gave these clients access to what one executive described as "Wisdom with heart." Many acclaim his ability to care more for their people and business than any other consultant.
Dalton and his wife, Vicki, are co-founders of 30 60 100 MINISTRIES, a Christian 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization focused on coaching and equipping leaders to multiply their impact through a passionate relationship with Christ. Using a variety of workshops, customized consulting programs, and unique blend of ministry and business expertise, they equip men and women of all backgrounds and cultures to prevent burnout and multiply impact through effective leadership&mdash;building healthy, effective, and efficient organizations and teams.
Dalton and Vicki observe that many professionals in the corporate world are educated and trained to rely primarily on their acumen and skill to make leadership decisions and achieve goals. As 16-year veterans of the mission field in the jungles of Colombia, South America, the Jantzens understand firsthand the ramifications of what it is like to rely solely on God to minister and live. Skills only take leaders so far; agility, adaptability, versatility, understanding, and learning to roll with the punches are equally vital parts of becoming a healthy spiritual leader, whether leading in a literal jungle or an urban one. Dalton's 20 years of experience coaching pastors and their staffs, elders, and deacons often distinguish him from those possessing theoretical depth and breadth yet lacking real-world experience, a deft touch, sufficient confidence, or good instincts.
Over the 20 years since founding 30 60 100 MINISTRIES, INC., Dalton and Vicki's unique blend of experience and expertise has helped equip men and women and their organizations to fulfill a healthy spiritual life balance and a passion for service to their Lord and His people.
Dalton and Vicki have been married for 51 years, with three grown children and five grandchildren, and have recently made Fort Worth, Texas their new home base.

Dalton Jantzen

William &ldquo;David&rdquo; Rigdon is an&nbsp;Executive Consultant, Faculty Member, and Thought Leader&nbsp;for&nbsp;Leath Group, LLC&mdash;a dynamic curriculum development and intellectual property&nbsp;greenhouse&nbsp;that grows leaders and shapes cultures.&nbsp;In his most frequent roles as consultant and instructor, David works in the areas of assessment center development, change management, team leadership, adaptive performance, and curriculum development for interactive technology platforms.
Formerly a marketing/advertising consultant, David spent more than 15 years specializing in entrepreneurial start-ups and new product/service launches. His &ldquo;prior life career pinnacle&rdquo; occurred in Los Angeles at GoWarehouse.com (now Vizional Technologies, Inc.), where he developed and implemented a one-year internal/external communication campaign. His efforts garnered a $250 million second-round funding offer from Goldman Sachs just prior to the market collapse.
In this former career, David was asked to hire, develop, retain, and manage small marketing/communications/graphic design teams. Over those 15 years, he learned many hard lessons about managing projects and leading people and was intrigued by failure and where/why it occurred. Disappointed in his own lack of leadership consistency (why some teams gelled and others disintegrated and why most met their objectives but few possessed the desire to exceed them), David persevered to convert lemons into lemonade. Following the burst bubble of the dot-com era, David returned from L.A. in 2003 to study Industrial Psychology.
His initial driving questions included, &ldquo;What was I missing?&rdquo; and &ldquo;How could I improve?&rdquo; As everyone does, he realized there is no one-size-fits-all magic formula, but he did find an active research community with solid answers to many tough questions, and a genuine desire to improve the world of work.
Today, in addition to sharing his many wonderful talents and keen insights with Leath Group, David teaches Psychology Applied to the Workplace (a hands-on experiential course in small group dynamics and team leadership) at the University of Texas at Dallas.
David earned his BS in Communications from the University of Texas at Austin and his MS in Industrial/Organizational Psychology from the University of Texas at Arlington.
David and his wife, Cathy, met and married while both were attending UT Arlington in 2004. A second time around for both, David&nbsp;is dad to adults Rob and Kate, and a cat, Comet,&nbsp;four dogs (Darwin, Dakota, Boiler, and Colt), a sister (Julie), and Julie&rsquo;s two-year-old daughter, Sarah. Yes, things are always happening at the Rigdon household! David and Cathy love to travel&mdash;not really the getting there part&mdash;just the going there part. Their favorite way to travel is by passenger train. They spent two weeks on the rails for their honeymoon traveling up and down the U.S. Eastern seaboard. In his spare time, David designs non-traditional tabletop games and builds furniture.

William David Rigdon

Susan Thoma is an Executive Consultant, Coach, and Faculty Member&nbsp;with more than 30 years as a results-oriented, relationship-building professional with significant experience managing and driving positive change through leaders and teams.&nbsp;Her background includes consulting, communicating, coaching, developing leaders, strategic planning and events.&nbsp;She has exceptional listening skills, creative and effective communication, with ability to influence others at all levels of the organization.
Most recently, Susan served as Senior Director for a Fortune 200 financial services firm where she led the Sales and Leadership Development function. She also drove the culture integration and talent management initiatives for new business acquisitions. During 2006, she was recognized as one of 30 associates invited to attend the corporation&rsquo;s elite worldwide Leadership Development Program.
Susan also spent seven years at Citibank where she served as the Chief of Staff to a Regional CEO.&nbsp;She managed the CEO&rsquo;s communication, strategic organizational development, change management and leadership development initiatives.
At Citibank, Susan received the Citicorp Service Excellence award in 1996 in recognition of dedication to Citicorp customers and outstanding service. Susan was also awarded membership into Menttium Corporation&rsquo;s Illinois 100&trade;&mdash;elected as one of two high-potential women in Citibank to participate in an external mentoring program with CEOs. In 1994, she received the U.S./Europe Citibank Team Concorde Award from Citibank senior leadership to recognize her &ldquo;extra effort&rdquo; that transcends business borders.
For the first 10 years in Susan&rsquo;s career she served in outside business development, training, coaching and marketing roles spanning industries such as healthcare, pharmaceutical, telecommunications, manufacturing, engineering, chemical, high-tech and consumer products. One of Susan&rsquo;s passions is integrating music as a metaphor in business. Partnering with conductors of symphony orchestras, she writes, produces and directs interactive educational and motivational forums for executive teams and employees.
Susan earned a B.S. degree in Marketing from the Kelley School of Business at Indiana University, Bloomington, with additional emphasis in Speech&nbsp;&amp; Organizational Communication. She served on the Board of Directors, Executive Committee for the Indiana University Kelley School of Business Alumni Association from 1998 to 2001. In 2001, she completed the Coaching Certificate Program from Georgetown University. During 2006, Susan attended Leadership for Extraordinary Performance at the University of Virginia, Darden Graduate School of Business Administration. One of her interests includes Write Hand Studio, a creative outlet, where she integrates her faith, nature photography, and the lost-art of the handwritten letter. She currently resides in the Denver, Colorado area.

Susan Thoma

Raquel Romero is an&nbsp;Executive Consultant and Faculty Member for&nbsp;Leath Group, LLC&mdash;a dynamic curriculum development and intellectual property greenhouse that grows leaders and shapes cultures.&nbsp;Raquel is a self-described "leadership nerd"&nbsp;who likes observing how leadership emerges in all walks of life. Before joining <a href="https://highridgeleadership.com/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">High Ridge Leadership</a> in 2015, she enjoyed a 22-year career in the federal government: 15 years as a Public Affairs Officer with the US Forest Service and seven years with the National Park Service (NPS) as a Leadership Development Specialist.
While with the Forest Service, Raquel worked as a communication strategist and spokesperson on many high-profile, high-conflict issues.&nbsp;She found that the projects with effective leaders tended to have the most positive outcomes.&nbsp;She became intrigued and wanted to learn more about leadership and what she could do to help others hone their skills.&nbsp;So, in 2008 Raquel changed her career focus and joined the NPS as a Leadership Development Specialist. While working on her Master&rsquo;s Degree in Organizational Leadership she designed a program for employees at Grand Canyon National Park. It quickly grew and was ultimately a national leadership development program that served NPS employees from throughout the country. Raquel was proud to receive two prestigious awards: one for &ldquo;Excellence in Innovation&rdquo; from the NPS Intermountain Regional Director, and one for &ldquo;Visionary Leadership Development&rdquo; from the National Parks Conservation Association.
As Principal Consultant with High Ridge Leadership, Raquel continues to enjoy her work helping people become better leaders and the teams they lead become more effective.&nbsp;
Raquel&rsquo;s education includes a Bachelor of Arts in Broadcast Communication from Eastern New Mexico University and a Master of Science in Organizational Leadership from Norwich University. She also holds certifications in&nbsp;Myers-Briggs Type Indicator (MBTI), Emotional Quotient Inventory (EQ-i 2.0), Hardiness Resilience Gauge (HRG), Thomas-Kilmann Conflict Mode Instrument (TKI), Change Style Indicator (CSI), Change Navigator (CN), Decision Style Profile (DSP) and Influence Style Indicator (ISI). Raquel is also a Wiley Authorized Partner to deliver Five Behaviors of a Cohesive Team assessments and workshops as well as DiSC assessments and workshops.&nbsp;In addition, she is trained in the Interaction Method of meeting design and facilitation. Raquel is a member of the International Leadership Association, The Association for Talent Development, and The Society for Organizational Learning.
Raquel lives in Missoula, MT with her husband Mike.&nbsp;She adores her grown children Aspen and Carson and she enjoys running, hiking, skiing and cooking new recipes with ingredients from her garden.

Raquel Romero

Dr. Michael D. Wood is an Executive Consultant and Faculty Member for Leath Group, LLC&mdash;a dynamic curriculum development and intellectual property greenhouse that grows leaders and shapes cultures. Mike is passionate about creating more resilient organizations&mdash;particularly during times of uncertainty. He is most interested in helping organizations generate solutions that are environmentally, socially, and economically sustainable.
While Mike once practiced environmental law, he left his traditional legal work to lead processes that resolve disputes through collaboration. For more than ten years, Mike worked with the University of Montana, College of Forestry &amp; Conservation to design, implement, and facilitate a leadership development program for the United States Forest Service (USFS). In September 2014, Mike formed <a href="http://highridgeleadership.com/">High Ridge Leadership, LLC</a> and is continuing his work with&nbsp;USFS while engaging new clients.
Mike has led numerous workshops and sessions that offer participants the opportunity for deep self-reflection focused on discovering one&rsquo;s own leadership potential while breaking through self-imposed barriers. His primary emphasis is the field of emotional intelligence and the intersection of emotion, change, and resilience.
Mike&rsquo;s philosophy is that personal leadership transformation involves moving toward a mind of empowerment, engagement, and humility. His curiosity (first documented in his dissertation, Modeling Sustainability through Collaboratively Organizing) has inspired him to focus on social dynamics within successful teams and organizations&mdash;especially when there is little or no positional authority involved.
Mike holds an MS in&nbsp;Resource Conservation,&nbsp;a JD with an emphasis on&nbsp;Environmental and Indian Law,&nbsp;and a PhD in&nbsp;Sustainability Education. He is certified in Myers-Briggs Type Indicator (MBTI), EQ Map, and is a member of the International Leadership Association.
Mike lives in Flagstaff, AZ, along with his wife and business partner, Raquel, and two step-children, Aspen and Carson. He is an avid trail runner and skier.&nbsp;

Michael Wood

Sylvia LaVoie is a Senior Consultant, Coach,&nbsp;and&nbsp;Faculty Member for Leath Group, LLC&mdash;a dynamic research, curriculum development, and intellectual property greenhouse that grows leaders and shapes cultures.&nbsp;
She&nbsp;has 25 years&rsquo; experience managing financial systems&mdash;combined with teaching, mentoring, and coaching (coaching being her&nbsp;greatest vocational passion).
Sylvia loves people and thrives by building rapport and communicating with others.&nbsp;

Sylvia LaVoie

Greg Holden is an Executive Consultant and Faculty Member for Leath Group, LLC&mdash;a dynamic curriculum development and intellectual property greenhouse that grows leaders and shapes cultures.
Having served three decades in diverse roles including HR Director, Learning &amp; Development Director, Compensation Manager, and HR Business Partner for a variety of functional groups such as Engineering, Research &amp; Development, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Information Technology, Mission Success, and Global Sustainment across Massachusetts, Alabama, Florida, and the Delaware Valley, Greg is the epitome of a broad-gauged HR professional and an exciting addition to our team.
Our rich, high-trust relationship with Greg began two decades ago when he and his colleagues implemented a transformational HR/L&amp;D initiative at Lockheed Martin entitled Leadership 21. At the time, a sizeable number of LM leaders were becoming retirement eligible within five years. As an intellectual-capital intensive business, Leadership 21 was designed to capture and transfer as much knowledge as possible within the five-year timeframe. Through assessments, workshops, and an award-winning mentoring program, Leadership 21 was a tremendous success.
Greg and his peers were equally instrumental in Leadership 21&rsquo;s successor solution, Full Spectrum Leadership.
Today, most frequently through executive coaching, Greg brings his complement of what we describe as &ldquo;heartfelt thoughtfulness&rdquo; to executives, managers, and individual contributors alike. We consistently receive positive feedback regarding his approach, which is equal parts&nbsp;deeply philosophical&nbsp;and&nbsp;pragmatically impactful.&nbsp;Greg attributes much of his coaching style to Marilee Adams, Ph.D. (author of&nbsp;Change Your Questions, Change Your Life),&nbsp;and to&nbsp;Cornerstones of the Gestalt Model for Change as taught by the renowned Gestalt International Study Center in Wellfleet, MA.&nbsp;
Greg is a&nbsp;Lockheed Martin Certified Executive Coach&nbsp;and is designated as a&nbsp;Senior Certified Professional&nbsp;by the Society for Human Resources Management (SHRM). He earned his MS in&nbsp;Organization Development &amp; Leadership from Saint Joseph&rsquo;s University in Philadelphia, PA.
Greg, his wife Anne, and their Goldendoodle, Libby, reside in Cohasset, MA. Their sons, Christopher and Scott, live in Somerville, MA and Philadelphia, PA, respectively. Greg loves spending time with family, exercising, and enjoying the outdoors. He also likes visiting with his three brothers in the Bay Area of California.

Greg Holden

Having begun her relationship with Leath Group as a client, Kim now possesses 28 years of extensive sales and service management experience. She has served in roles as diverse as Personal Lines Manager, Vice President, Consultant &amp; Vice President of Sales, Senior Leader of Employee Development &amp; Engagement, Talent Development Partner, Senior Manager of Organizational Effectiveness, and Manager of Training &amp; Development in industries ranging from retail, insurance, consulting, and financial services to aeronautics, defense, pharmaceutics, and luxury retail design.
Possessing such a vibrant, talented network, today she endeavors to connect great people with great need, often catching them at an inflection point.
Kim&rsquo;s expertise includes oversight and leadership of instructional/curriculum design, mentor programs, performance management solutions, executive coaching, facilitator/instructor pools, public relations and corporate communications projects, sales/operational enhancements, and cultural transformations writ large, be they domestic or international. She is also author of Women Working with Women, a profound and popular workshop that untangles, restores, and renews female executive relationships in the workplace.
She has taught extensively through the years, and served on numerous community and affinity advisory boards including Youth Leadership Program (Albuquerque Chamber of Commerce), The Make-a-Wish Foundation of New Mexico (President), UNM MBA Alumni Association, GRACE Grapevine (Board Member), Wounded Warrior Project, Fellowship Church, Club Corp (Board Member, La Cima), and in various capacities at local Chambers of Commerce from DFW to San Antonio.
As a teen&mdash;with the love of family, friends, and faith&mdash;Kim overcame Hodgkin&rsquo;s lymphoma. As an adult, she battled and beat breast cancer in a fight that would last for years. Her indomitable spirit, grace, and sassy wit are on full display in preliminary drafts of Fight &amp; Claw, her love letter to those who have tangled with Mr. C, and her manifesto for those (approximately &frac12; of males and&nbsp;⅓&nbsp;of females)&mdash;and their loved ones&mdash;who will eventually be drafted into the theater of war.
A native Texan, lifelong learner, and undaunted volunteer, Kim attended Texas Tech University, earned her BBA in&nbsp;Marketing &amp; Management&nbsp;and her Executive MBA (with an emphasis in&nbsp;International Business) from Anderson School of Management at University of New Mexico, and is a Certified&nbsp;Human Capital Strategist.
Today, this itinerant gura and connector of ideas and people can be found traveling, writing, speaking, solving, encouraging, talking back, and introducing.
But when she is not, one will likely not find her at all, for she has traded her kingdom for a horse and will be ankle-deep in manure in some remote southeast Texas barn or stall: shoveling, shampooing, grooming, shoeing, or perhaps even buying or breeding his majesty&rsquo;s greatest mammal. And eventually, come rain or shine or dawn or dusk or midday beam, Kim-the-equestrian will be but a blurry speck off in the distance, a thunderous beast galloping her into some Christopher Cross oblivion beyond the horizon, the future on her face and troubles to the wind.

During these years, she has effectively transformed organizational goals and project requirements into actionable strategies, programs, and operational objectives in the profit and non-profit realms.
Jean&rsquo;s extensive experience has always focused on creating and delivering programs and projects focused on more effective and efficient use of operational resources, while ensuring client needs are met. She is a motivated, organized, and results-oriented individual who readily facilitates credible communication with all constituents. Her prowess in meeting facilitation, project management, technical writing, and business process re-engineering ensures that team members operate at peak levels.

Jean&nbsp;resides in her native New Jersey and lives with her cardiologist husband, Steven, where she&nbsp;continues to coach and has worked on a 21st Century Community Kitchen in Newark that&nbsp;brings healthier food options, job training, and food production to the inner city.&nbsp; She is the proud mother of James, a graduate of Hofstra University.

Blake, Dawn, their daughter (Lauren), and their microscopic Cavalier King Charles Spaniel (Kit) make their home just north of Dallas, Texas. "The soft skills are the hard skills" because they are (by their very nature) organic, subjective, open to interpretation, and difficult to master. Unfortunately, no one gets a 'pass' simply because something is difficult to learn.
Our Cultivation Series pries deep into the bushes and bramble of difficult to learn topical areas while never shying away from their importance. Though there are few hard and fast rules here, we and our clients have drawn a number of helpful conclusions about these ofttimes inscrutable topics.
While we can certainly add to or remove from any topic upon request, we generally aim for .5 to 1.5 days per program in the Cultivation Series. Said another way, if you're looking for a primer to dive deeply into seemingly soft, subjective areas quickly, this series is the place to start.
