Very interesting to explore why the Methodists are called Methodists, the Quakers Quakers, and now the Shakers Shakers!
The flick is comprised of LOTS of shaking and bizarre little hymns, but the cinematography is gorgeous and the acting is phenomenal.
Filmed mostly in Hungary and Sweden, so lots of old, historical structures that are beautiful.
Despite a nearly 2 1/2-hour runtime, I will likely see it again, which should tell you everything you need to know.
