Can I tell you how great this film is?
Probably not, but take my word for it.
It's not icky as you fear it might be; it's actually a really powerful, moving, highly sentimental story that viewers are lapping up. See IMDB's 7.9 from 14,000 raters so far!
I've seen it not once, not twice, but THREE times now.
That should tell you everything you need to know.
Moreover, I'm so proud of Olivia Wilde. As a director, she has really come into her own with this one. It's deftly told, gorgeously filmed, and has such a delightful mix of humor and drama. Her facial expressions are wildly communicative. She, Seth, Edward, and Penelope sparkle; they really do!
So, so good. Truly. Give it a shot!
