Remember 2023’s “Silent Night” by John Woo starring Joel Kinnaman—the action film with no dialogue?
“Motor City” starring Alan Ritchson, Ben Foster, and Shailene Woodley follows a similar road.
For nearly two hours, a moody late-’70s soundtrack carries the story from fistfight to car chase to prison break to sweet revenge.
The entire film contains just EIGHT spoken words: “Well” followed by four from Foster and three from Ritchson.
And somehow… it’s pitch perfect.
If you loved the sparse, atmospheric, neon-soaked nighttime rides in “Miami Vice,” the arena-rock swagger in “Highlander,” and the one-man wrecking-ball justice in “First Blood,” Motor City is growling your name.
