I personally loved it, though I'm well aware it was 95% fictionalized and, for some, become little more than a meme factory.
Nevertheless, I returned week after week...and I was not the only one!
The math shows Rotten Tomatoes has it at 81% critics / 69% audience, Metacritic has it at 63/100 critics / 6.6 users, and Disney/FX reporting had it at 25M+ hours for the first five episodes, later passing 65M hours streamed across Hulu/Disney+. TheWrap reported it became FX’s most-watched limited series ever on Hulu and Disney+.
