It's cute, but coulda been HILARIOUS if they'd really leaned into the right tropes!
Ladies First belongs to that familiar magical-comeuppance subgenre—alongside I Am Not an Easy Man, What Women Want, Isn’t It Romantic, I Feel Pretty, Yesterday, and Pleasantville—in which someone gets bonked, zapped, cursed, or cosmically redirected into an alternate reality engineered to teach them empathy.
