Today a client asked for some possible images to express a recent idea he had. "Can you show me some 'ferocious' movie men, maybe?"
"Ferocity? Yessir, we can do that."
"And tenacious, determined." Right. Got it.
Fun assignment, up the proverbial alley.
In fact, I had just been talking with someone the other day about a few of these. Childhood memories, many of them.
There are some cool, nostalgic items here.
I only wish we'd had more than an hour (there are so many gems!), but he did say these succeeded at getting the incubatory idea across the ol' finish line.
“I’m gonna take this right foot, and I’m gonna whop you on that side of your face, and you wanna know something? There’s not a damn thing you’re gonna be able to do about it.”
“Quickly as you can, snatch the pebble from my hand.”
“Don’t mess with the bull, young man; you’ll get the horns!”
“I don’t think you can take us all.” “No, but I’ll get an ‘A’ for effort.”
“I want you to be nice, until it’s time to not be nice.”
“Nothing like a good piece of hickory.”
“On the bloody morning after, one tin soldier rides away.”
